Accountant – Finance Operations (Dubai)

About the role

The Accountant will manage daily financial operations for a Dubai‑based travel and visa services provider. This full‑time, on‑site position supports accurate cash‑flow management and compliance with UAE accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Record financial transactions, maintain general ledgers and reconcile bank and cash accounts.
• Prepare invoices, monitor accounts receivable and payable, and assist with cash‑flow management for travel packages and visa services.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing, produce financial reports and statements, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with internal teams to track revenue and expenses across travel, visa, and related services, helping to optimise financial processes.
• Maintain organised financial records, support internal and external audits, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities.

Required profile

• Strong general accounting skills, including journal entries, ledgers, bank reconciliation and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with accounting software and advanced MS Excel (spreadsheets, formulas, basic data analysis).
• Solid understanding of accounts payable and receivable, invoicing and cash‑flow management.
• Knowledge of UAE accounting standards and compliance requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or ACCA certification is a plus.
• Prior experience in travel, tourism or services industries is beneficial.
