Accountant – Finance Team

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Accountant to join the finance team of a fast‑growing technology company in Dubai. The role offers ownership of day‑to‑day accounting operations and the chance to work across multiple entities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage financial accounting and bookkeeping for the business.
• Oversee general ledger management and ensure record accuracy.
• Handle VAT and corporate tax registration, filing, and ongoing compliance.
• Coordinate the annual external audit process and liaise directly with auditors.
• Maintain multiple books of accounts across entities and business units.
• Support consolidation of financial reports when required.
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in financial accounting or bookkeeping.
• Solid understanding of UAE VAT and corporate tax compliance.
• Prior experience supporting or coordinating external audits.
• Ability to manage multiple entities/books of accounts simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with ERP accounting systems.
