Accountant – Finance & VAT Specialist

About the role

IntelTech Solutions & Consultancy L.L.C. is looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join its finance team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves managing daily accounting operations, ensuring compliance with UAE VAT regulations, and supporting payroll and project cost tracking.

Key responsibilities

• Record day‑to‑day transactions, maintain general ledger accounts, process invoices and perform bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management statements, variance analyses, cash‑flow forecasts and budget tracking reports.
• Execute UAE VAT filings, ensure full compliance with FTA regulations and support external audit requirements.
• Process employee payroll through the Wages Protection System (WPS) and coordinate with vendors and banks.
• Monitor project cost ledgers, track expenditures and uphold data integrity under corporate confidentiality standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on accounting experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Currently based in the UAE, preferably Abu Dhabi.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems and accounting software platforms.
• Strong knowledge of WPS operations.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Expertise in UAE VAT filing and FTA compliance.
