About the role
The accountant will ensure the accuracy of the organization’s financial records, perform internal audits, and support tax compliance. This role is critical for maintaining financial integrity within a non‑profit shelter serving women and children in the UAE.
Key responsibilities
- Control and audit financial accounts to verify correctness and compliance.
- Prepare, review, and submit tax returns in line with local legislation.
- Manage debit and credit balances, oversee payment and collection processes, and handle invoicing.
- Conduct bank account operations and process electronic payments.
- Analyze financial statements and present reports to senior management.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
- Minimum of 1 month of relevant experience.
