Accountant – Full‑time (Ajman)

About the role

We are urgently hiring an Accountant to join our team in Ajman. The role demands solid accounting knowledge, the ability to multitask and a fast‑learning attitude, together with strong communication skills.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare budgets, forecasts and perform variance analysis for ongoing projects.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate end‑to‑end recording of all financial transactions.
• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Perform cash, bank, inter‑company, supplier, subcontractor, customer and project account reconciliations.
• Handle journal entries, accruals, pre‑payments and support month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, credit control and collections.
• Ensure UAE VAT, corporate tax calculations and regulatory filings are completed accurately.
• Prepare audit schedules, support external auditors and maintain audit documentation.

Required profile

• Proper accounting knowledge covering all core functions.
• Ability to multitask and learn quickly in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP and accounting software such as SAP, Tally Prime Gold, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Xero, Sage 50, MS Dynamics 365 and Odoo.
• Advanced MS Excel skills – VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, complex formulas and financial data analysis.
• Experience building financial models.
