Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented and proactive Accountant to join our team in the trading and commodity trading sector. You will manage financial transactions, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the company’s financial health while working closely with multiple departments.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in line with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular bank and ledger reconciliations using accounting software.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting, collaborating with department heads.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable to maintain healthy cash flow.
• Prepare tax returns and coordinate with external auditors.
• Analyze financial data and produce reports highlighting key performance indicators.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to protect company assets.
• Support special finance projects and initiatives.
