Accountant

About the role

Constructive Technologies, an engineering and construction software company serving major contractors globally, is looking for an experienced Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai. The role reports to the CFO.

Key responsibilities

• Run the month-end close, including journals, accruals and reconciliations
• Prepare the monthly finance pack and management accounts
• Take full responsibility for credit control, debtor and creditor management, and the bank and cash position
• Prepare VAT returns and support statutory and management reporting
• Support payroll reconciliations and the WPS process with HR
• Keep the chart of accounts, controls and supporting documents in order
• Help build finance processes as the business grows

Required profile

• A relevant accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent) or strong progress towards one
• 3 or more years' experience in a finance or accounting role in the UAE (essential)
• Accurate, organised and comfortable working to deadlines

Required skills

• Working knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax
• Working experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (essential)
• Excellent Excel skills
