Accountant

About the role

Kazamer Tax Consultant is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to support its financial operations and accounting services in Dubai. The role suits someone who values accuracy, confidentiality and professional service, and who understands accounting principles, financial reporting and tax-related documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including daily transactions, invoices, receipts, payments and expense reports.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports and periodic accounting summaries.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, and reconcile bank, customer, supplier and general ledger balances.
• Assist with VAT returns and corporate tax calculations, documentation and filing in line with UAE regulations.
• Help clients with accounting documentation needed for tax compliance, and coordinate collection of invoices, receipts and bank statements.
• Prepare journal entries, monitor cash flow and track business expenses.
• Support internal reviews and external audits by preparing schedules and supporting records.
• Stay informed on changes to UAE VAT, corporate tax and other compliance requirements, and keep client data confidential.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
• Previous accounting experience; experience in a tax consultancy or accounting firm is an advantage.
• Good understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with UAE VAT and corporate tax requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet reporting deadlines, working independently and in a team.

Required skills

• Accounting software such as QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho Books or similar.
• Microsoft Excel and standard office applications.
• Preferred: experience preparing VAT returns and supporting corporate tax compliance in the UAE.
