Accountant – Multi-branch Dental Clinics

About the role

We are seeking an Accountant to join the finance team of Dr. Joy Dental Clinics Group. The role will ensure accurate financial records across all clinic locations in the UAE and support day‑to‑day accounting operations.

Key responsibilities

• Record and reconcile daily transactions for all branches, including revenue, expenses and inter‑branch entries.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and maintain reconciled ledger accounts.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Maintain fixed‑asset records and support depreciation schedules.
• Support payroll processing and ensure accuracy of staff‑related financial entries.
• Prepare VAT returns in line with UAE Federal Tax Authority requirements.
• Provide documentation and schedules for internal and external audits.
• Monitor petty‑cash across branches, ensuring proper authorisation.
• Assist the Finance Manager with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Coordinate with branch managers to collect timely financial data.
• Maintain filing and documentation standards for all financial records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in healthcare or a multi‑branch environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and financial modelling.
• Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations and FTA compliance.
• Experience with multi‑entity or group company accounting is an advantage.

• Zoho Books or similar accounting software.
• QuickBooks or Tally (or comparable ERP systems).
• Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, financial modelling).
• UAE VAT compliance knowledge.
