Accountant & Operations Executive – Art Gallery (Dubai)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant and Operations Executive to join our boutique art gallery in Dubai. The role combines financial management, day‑to‑day operations and HR responsibilities, supporting the gallery’s commercial success and smooth running.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, management accounts and support budgeting and financial planning.
• Process UAE VAT returns, payroll and maintain employee records.
• Oversee artwork inventory, sales records, client invoicing and related documentation.
• Coordinate contracts, insurance policies and ensure compliance with UAE accounting, tax and labour regulations.
• Identify and implement operational improvements to increase efficiency.
• Handle recruitment, onboarding, visa renewals, medical insurance and staff performance processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE accounting standards, VAT and labour laws.
• Experience in finance, office management and HR administration.
