Accountant – Real Estate Development (UAE)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our real‑estate development team in the UAE. The role involves managing end‑to‑end accounting processes for property projects, ensuring compliance with IFRS, UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and analyse financial statements and management reports for real‑estate projects.
• Handle general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, journal entries, accruals and month‑end/year‑end closing.
• Manage Oqood, TAS and escrow accounting processes and related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, corporate tax and other statutory requirements.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, consultants and government authorities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of professional accounting experience in the UAE, including at least 2 years in real‑estate property development.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE accounting standards.
• Proven experience with Oqood, TAS and escrow accounting.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
