Accountant – Restaurant & Hospitality (Dubai)

About the role

A growing restaurant and hospitality business in Dubai is looking for an experienced Accountant to join its finance team. The role focuses on managing daily financial operations, ensuring compliance with UAE VAT regulations, and supporting management with accurate reporting and administrative assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform daily sales and cash reconciliations.
• Process supplier invoices and payments.
• Maintain VAT accounting records and ensure UAE regulatory compliance.
• Prepare financial reports and assist with month‑end closing.
• Monitor inventory records and control food costs.
• Execute timely bank reconciliations.
• Provide financial and administrative support to management.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
• Prior experience in restaurant, café or food‑and‑beverage accounting.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.
• Understanding of inventory management and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication, organizational and analytical abilities.
• Immediate availability preferred; candidates from Kerala given priority.
