Accountant – Retail Portfolio Finance

About the role

Aldar Retail Management is seeking an experienced Accountant to support the financial operations of its retail portfolio across the UAE. The role focuses on tenant receivables, collections, payment processing, Yardi transactions, banking activities and financial controls.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day tenant payment processing, including direct debits, wire transfers, cheques and other methods.
• Maintain accurate Yardi records for direct debit mandates, wire receipts, cheque handling and bank guarantees.
• Monitor payment activity, support timely collection of outstanding amounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Respond to tenant queries, coordinate with Leasing, Finance and banking partners, and ensure professional communication.
• Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, forecasts and audit files, and identify process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, accounts receivable or collections, preferably in retail, property or real‑estate environments.
• Strong hands‑on experience with tenant collections and payment processing.
• Proven ability to maintain accurate financial records and support audit requirements.

Required skills

• Yardi (or similar property management/accounting system).
• Direct debit and cheque processing.
• Bank guarantee administration.
• Financial reporting and analysis.
