About the role
A transport company in Sharjah is looking for a qualified Accountant with solid experience in handling company accounts, tax submission and full invoicing management. The position is full-time.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and submit VAT returns according to UAE regulations
- Manage all company invoices: issuing, recording and follow-up
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Maintain accurate financial records and reports
- Monitor monthly expenses and payments
- Coordinate with management on financial planning and cash flow
- Ensure compliance with UAE tax and accounting standards
Required profile
- Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience; transport industry experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT filing and tax submission
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Required skills
- Experience with accounting software
- Good knowledge of MS Excel
