Accounting Senior Analyst

About the role

Cigna Healthcare is looking for an Accounting Senior Analyst in Dubai. The role performs analysis and reporting of financial results for business operations, including monthly financial closing, audit and regulatory reporting, client and internal reporting, ad hoc reporting and process improvement projects. The ideal candidate comes from an insurance or healthcare background.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and reconcile key financial reporting measurements with the FP&A team, Ops Finance and the Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse
• Analyze and reconcile ledger accounts monthly, and prepare quarterly and year-end exhibits
• Prepare and analyze regulatory reporting requirements quarterly
• Help clear ICO out-of-balance amounts and finalize ARM recommendations within agreed timelines
• Support the Treasury team with deposits, cash monitoring and transfers

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in general ledger accounting, full month-end close, journal entries and balance sheet reconciliation
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Audit
• CPA or equivalent preferred but not required
• Prior healthcare industry experience strongly preferred
• Strong analytical and communication skills, problem-solving and attention to detail
