Accounts Assistant

About the role

Constructive Technologies, an engineering and construction software company serving major contractors globally, is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join its finance team in Dubai. The role reports to the CFO and suits someone wanting to build a solid career in accounting.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and payments, checking them against supporting documents and approvals
• Issue and track customer invoices and follow up on receipts
• Credit control, including chasing overdue accounts and managing debtor and creditor balances
• Handle expense claims, petty cash and staff reimbursements
• Help with bank reconciliations and filing of financial records
• Support month-end tasks such as accruals and reporting pack preparation
• Provide admin support to the finance team

Required profile

• Studying towards a recognised accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent)
• 1-3 years' experience in an accounts or finance support role in the UAE (essential)
• Accurate, reliable and well organised, with good attention to detail
• Good communication skills and a team-focused approach

Required skills

• Working experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (essential)
• Excellent Excel skills
