Accounts Payable Manager – Real Estate

About the role

The Accounts Payable Manager will lead the AP function for Dubai Holding Land Estates, ensuring accurate processing of invoices, payment certificates and escrow transactions. This role supports the company’s strategic land portfolio management and aligns financial operations with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain budgetary controls to keep spending within approved budgets and delegation of authority (DOA) limits.
• Manage the end‑to‑end Accounts Payable process for all DHLE entities, including policy development and SLA implementation.
• Act as the primary liaison with banks and the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) for escrow account administration and Transaction Accounting System (TAS) matters.
• Maintain payment cycles, schedules and accurate AP balances, ensuring compliance with internal KPIs.
• Guide staff in processing invoices, payment certificates, exception resolution and payment execution.
• Lead AP system enhancements, automation initiatives and transactional metrics reporting.
• Review payable ageing, ensure timely payments and reconcile balances.
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities related to financial reporting and controls.

Required profile

• Proven experience in accounts payable, preferably within a real‑estate or large‑scale development environment.
• Strong understanding of budgetary controls, DOA compliance and internal audit processes.
