Accounts Payable Specialist

About the role

The Accounts Payable Specialist will support the finance team of a luxury hotel in Ras Al Khaimah, ensuring accurate processing of invoices, petty cash, and supplier payments. You will play a key role in maintaining cash‑flow efficiency and fostering strong supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ageing reports for the Accounting and Control Department.
• Process daily invoices, matching them with purchase orders, delivery notes and contracts.
• Validate and record petty cash vouchers, ensuring timely posting to the system.
• Batch invoices, obtain departmental approvals and book them to the correct accounts.
• Review payment schedules, submit payment requests and prepare cheque payments for final approval.
• Maintain accurate filing of all supporting documents for future reference.
• Assist in preparing monthly accruals for goods and services received.

Required profile

• Experience in accounts payable or related finance functions, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of invoices.
• Good organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
