Accounts Receivable Executive

About the role

The Accounts Receivable Executive manages all aspects of accounts receivable, including calculating, recording and processing financial data so that financial records stay accurate. The role prepares invoices, works closely with the operations division to secure payments and certifications, and helps improve cash flow while keeping good customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate, record, input and process financial data accurately.
• Prepare customer invoices according to accounting procedures and ensure they are dispatched and tracked on time.
• Collect payments within agreed terms and manage outstanding balances accurately.
• Review invoices for accuracy and completeness, and investigate payment discrepancies by contacting customers.
• Maintain and update customer accounts and process incoming payments promptly.
• Ensure customers are billed correctly and work with operations to secure certifications and payments.
• Track advance payments, follow credit approval processes and generate weekly reports on debt collection performance and collection plans for management.

Required profile

• Associate degree or equivalent in accounting or finance.
• Experience specifically in accounts receivable management.
• Proven ability to drive process improvements.
• Valid driving licence required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Ariba, SAP and M-file accounting systems.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain confidentiality in financial matters.
