Acute Medicine Specialist – Tax-Free Opportunity in Dubai

About the role

We are seeking an Acute Medicine Specialist to join our Dubai hospital team. The physician will deliver high‑quality, patient‑centred care for individuals admitted with acute medical conditions, working across medical wards and acute units.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage patients with a broad spectrum of acute or complex illnesses.
• Lead acute medical admissions and provide emergency care, including resuscitation and stabilization of critically ill patients.
• Conduct outward rounds, oversee care of critically ill patients, and coordinate with specialties such as cardiology, nephrology and respiratory medicine.
• Interpret laboratory, imaging and other diagnostic results to guide treatment decisions.
• Document patient histories, treatment plans and progress accurately.
• Mentor and supervise junior doctors, residents and medical students.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews and contribute to clinical protocol development.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Post‑graduate qualification in Internal Medicine or Acute Medicine (e.g., MRCP).
• 3–5 years of experience in acute internal medicine or a similar role.
• Active medical licence for the relevant jurisdiction.
• Certification in Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Fluency in English.
