About the role
The Department of Health Sciences at Zayed University seeks qualified candidates to teach nutrition courses, focusing on nutritional biochemistry, at its Abu Dhabi campus starting January 2027. The role involves delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses and contributing to curriculum development.
Key responsibilities
- Teach introductory and advanced nutrition courses with an emphasis on nutritional biochemistry.
- Develop curriculum plans, facilitate class discussions, and assess student coursework.
- Maintain class records and ensure student engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues on research interests and co‑curricular activities.
Required profile
- Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in Nutritional Biochemistry, Nutritional Sciences, or a closely related field recognized by the UAE Ministry of Education.
- Proven record of excellent teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Adaptable, forward‑thinking, and innovative in classroom engagement.
