Adjunct Professional – Health & Life Sciences (Pool)

About the role

De Montfort University Dubai is creating an Adjunct Professional Pool for Health & Life Sciences (HLS) to bring industry expertise into its teaching programmes. The pool will be used on a flexible, needs‑based basis to support guest lectures, workshops, mentoring and curriculum development throughout the academic year.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver guest lectures, seminars or specialist teaching sessions.
• Facilitate workshops or masterclasses for students.
• Provide student mentoring and academic guidance.
• Assess and evaluate coursework or project work.
• Contribute to curriculum design and programme enhancement.

Required profile

• Significant professional experience in the relevant discipline, preferably in the UK, UAE or GCC region.
• Strong interest in higher education and student development.
• Ability to communicate professional practice effectively in an academic setting.
• Relevant postgraduate qualification or recognised professional standing (highly desirable).
• Alignment with the university’s academic values, quality standards and inclusive education commitment.
• Availability to engage in teaching activities in Dubai as required.
