Administrator – School Systems

About the role

Techss is seeking an experienced Administrator to manage Student Information Systems (SIS) and related education technology platforms across multiple schools in the UAE. The role focuses on ensuring system stability, data integrity, and effective user support while collaborating with school and IT teams.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support SIS platforms such as iSAMS, PowerSchool, and Engage.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and optimise school management systems.
• Manage user accounts, roles, permissions, and access controls.
• Support system implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and annual academic roll‑overs.
• Maintain data quality and accuracy across integrated systems.
• Assist with system testing, validation, and User Acceptance Testing.
• Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions.
• Collaborate with school staff and technology teams to resolve issues and improve performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience administering school information systems.
• Currently based in the UAE and able to join within 15 days.
• Strong analytical, communication, and customer‑service skills.

Required skills

• iSAMS, PowerSchool, Engage or similar SIS platforms.
• SIS configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
• User account and permission management.
• Data management and data quality assurance.
• Reporting, dashboard creation, and business intelligence tools.
• Integrations, APIs, middleware, SSO, and identity management (advantageous).
• Experience with both cloud‑based and on‑premises applications.
