Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager – Busbar EMEA

About the role

The Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager – Busbar EMEA is responsible for the AME agenda for the Busbar product line across the region, covering sites in RAK (UAE) and Burnfoot (Ireland). Reporting to the AME Director EMEA, the role drives industrialization, manufacturing readiness and technology road‑maps to support growth and product launches.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the AME function for the Busbar product line across EMEA, coordinating activities between RAK and Burnfoot.
• Own NPDI readiness, ensuring new products and changes are launched with full manufacturing readiness.
• Drive prototype, pilot and pre‑production manufacturing activities, preparing processes, tooling, fixtures and test capabilities.
• Standardize manufacturing methods, layouts, tooling concepts and documentation across both plants.
• Develop and execute the automation and digitalisation roadmap to improve safety, quality and productivity.
• Plan capacity, justify and support CAPEX investments related to industrialisation and automation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, industrial engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in advanced manufacturing engineering, industrialisation or technical operations.
• Proven experience with NPDI, prototype builds, process industrialisation, automation, capacity planning and CAPEX execution.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to lead through influence across multiple sites.
