Advent .NET Engineer – Dubai

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Advent .NET Engineer to join our Dubai office. You will be responsible for optimizing the Advent APX platform, integrating modern .NET, automation, and AI technologies, and supporting wealth and assets management solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and optimize the Advent APX core application environment.
• Write, debug, and tune complex MS SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers while ensuring high availability.
• Develop and maintain backend services using the .NET (C#) framework.
• Design, build, and execute automated testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright).
• Provide tier‑2/3 technical support and resolve application bottlenecks.
• Implement reliable CI/CD pipelines to eliminate manual interventions.
• Audit existing workflows, propose improvements, and integrate Node.js‑based APIs and microservices.
• Apply AI technologies and LLM frameworks to automate data processes.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience administering Advent APX.
• Expert‑level proficiency with MS SQL Server and T‑SQL.
• Strong background in .NET (C#) backend architecture.
• Solid conceptual understanding of Node.js and AI toolkits.
• Proven experience with test‑automation tools such as Playwright.
• Proactive problem‑solver who challenges the status quo.
