AI Architect – Enterprise Agentic AI for Banking

About the role

We are seeking an experienced AI Architect to design and govern enterprise‑wide Generative and Agentic AI solutions for retail banking. The role will shape the target architecture, integration patterns, standards and reusable components that enable secure, scalable AI chat assistants, autonomous agents and multi‑agent workflows across payments, transfers, servicing and self‑service channels.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the enterprise Agentic AI architecture, reference patterns, reusable components and governance guardrails for banking use cases.
• Architect conversational AI platforms and multi‑agent ecosystems that support payments, transfers, account servicing and customer assistance.
• Translate business, product and regulatory requirements into secure, observable, resilient AI solution designs.
• Lead the design of Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) platforms, vector databases, semantic indexing and grounding strategies.
• Create Architecture Decision Records, solution documents and ARB‑ready presentations to obtain approvals.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, product, data and enterprise architecture teams to build a sustainable AI ecosystem.

Required profile

• Senior technology professional with 12+ years of experience in software engineering, architecture and cloud/platform delivery.
• Minimum 4+ years of hands‑on AI engineering or AI architecture experience, including Generative AI and agentic solutions.
• Proven experience delivering multiple production‑grade banking agents or chat assistants integrated with core banking systems.
• Strong understanding of retail banking journeys, payments, transfers, servicing, regulatory and security considerations.
