AI Engineer - GenAI & Agentic AI

About the role

techcarrot FZ LLC is looking for a hands-on AI Engineer in Dubai to design, build and deliver enterprise-grade GenAI, conversational AI and agentic AI solutions that improve how users interact with enterprise data, insights, recommendations and workflows. The role is primarily an Individual Contributor position: about 90% hands-on development and 10% coordinating and reviewing work delivered by an offshore team.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy production-grade GenAI solutions with advanced LLMs such as OpenAI models, and implement RAG pipelines on structured and unstructured enterprise data
• Build hybrid search architectures combining vector and graph databases (e.g. Azure AI Search, Neo4j)
• Develop agentic AI workflows with LangChain, LangGraph and Haystack, including multi-agent orchestration, tool calling, memory management and data validation
• Validate data quality, completeness, accuracy, freshness and business rules, and build automated quality checks and anomaly detection
• Own end-to-end AI application development: React frontends, Python backends and APIs, integrated with enterprise systems
• Integrate chatbots and agents into the Azure ecosystem, with identity and access management (RBAC, authentication, authorization)
• Apply MLOps and LLMOps practices: model and prompt versioning, CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring and observability
• Review offshore team deliverables, perform code reviews and track dependencies and quality issues

Required profile

• Strong hands-on understanding of LLMs, transformers, embeddings, prompt and context engineering, RAG and evaluation
• Experience building end-to-end GenAI and agentic AI products from development to production
• Experience reviewing code and deliverables from offshore teams
• Strong problem-solving skills across AI, data, backend, frontend and enterprise integration
