AI Engineer

About the role

Enerflex Ltd. is looking for an AI Engineer to join its Asset Management team in Abu Dhabi. You will design and deploy AI‑driven solutions that improve maintenance, extend asset life, lower operating costs, and enhance equipment safety across our energy infrastructure portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI applications for predictive and preventive maintenance.
• Design models that support asset life‑extension strategies and operational cost reduction.
• Leverage Large and Small Language Models (LLMs/SLMs) for intelligent automation and decision support.
• Integrate solutions within Azure cloud environments and Microsoft Copilot tools.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify AI opportunities and deliver project updates.
• Stay current with emerging AI technologies and ensure compliance with data protection policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on AI/ML development experience, preferably in industrial or asset‑intensive settings.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to work independently while aligning with team goals.
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
