AI-Native Agile Team Coach (m/f/d)

About the role

The AI-Native Team Coach supports AI-Native teams in adopting, applying and continuously improving an AI-Native delivery model. As a Lean-Agile Centre of Excellence (LACE) resource shared across several teams, the role builds effective delivery practices, develops team capability and helps teams become more autonomous. It strengthens collaboration, flow, transparency, empiricism and continuous improvement, and helps teams use approved AI capabilities in planning, development, testing, coordination and learning. Business Product roles and AI Value Architects keep accountability for value, prioritisation and solution direction, while delivery teams own execution.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to designing, implementing and evolving the AI-Native delivery model, based on AI-Native SAFe, Lean, Agile, Scrum and Kanban principles adapted to organisational, security and operational needs.
• Coach teams in adopting the delivery model and establish consistent practices, increasing autonomy as capability grows.
• Help teams define and use meaningful measures of outcomes, flow, quality and team health.
• Identify opportunities where AI reduces repetitive work, improves quality and accelerates feedback, with human oversight and accountability.
• Coach teams to resolve challenges within their control and engage stakeholders, leaders or specialists for broader issues.
• Provide coaching, facilitation and delivery support, and develop teams' ability to manage planning, coordination, review and improvement.
• Capture and share learnings across AI-Native teams and the LACE, including challenges, reusable practices and successful AI applications.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience coaching Agile teams and improving technology delivery in complex enterprise environments; experience with small, cross-functional or highly AI-enabled teams is preferred.
• Experience establishing new teams or supporting teams through adoption and maturation of new ways of working.
• Experience coaching multiple teams or acting as a shared coaching capability across a portfolio, division or value stream.
• Relevant Agile or coaching certification such as SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC), ICP-ACC, ICP-ATF, CSP, PSM or equivalent.

Required skills

• Strong practical knowledge of Lean, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, flow, empiricism and continuous improvement.
• Practical understanding of how AI tools can enhance planning, backlog refinement, analysis, development, testing and knowledge sharing.
• Experience visualising work and using delivery, flow, outcome, quality and team-health metrics.
• Experience with Jira or similar work management and delivery visualization tools.
• Strong coaching, facilitation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
