AI-Native Team Coach

About the role

The AI-Native Team Coach enables AI-Native teams to adopt, apply and continuously improve an AI-Native delivery model. The role sets up effective delivery practices, builds team capability and helps teams become more autonomous as they mature. It strengthens collaboration, flow, transparency, empiricism and continuous improvement, and helps teams use approved AI capabilities to plan, build, test, coordinate and learn. The business Product role and AI Value Architect own accountability for value, priorities and solution direction, while the team owns delivery accountability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the AI-Native delivery model, drawing on AI-Native SAFe, Lean, Agile, Scrum and Kanban and adapting them to the organisation's security and operational context.
• Establish and evolve team ways of working, starting with consistent core practices and moving toward greater autonomy.
• Help teams set meaningful measures of outcomes, flow, quality and team health to support learning and improvement.
• Enable AI-supported delivery, helping teams find where AI removes repetitive work, improves quality or accelerates feedback while keeping human judgement and accountability.
• Coach teams to resolve issues within their control and facilitate broader intervention when needed.
• Build team capability and autonomy through targeted coaching and facilitation.
• Share learning across AI-Native teams and LACE, including challenges, reusable practices and effective uses of AI.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience coaching Agile teams and improving technology delivery in a complex enterprise environment; experience with small, cross-functional or highly AI-enabled teams preferred.
• Experience establishing new teams or helping teams adopt and mature new ways of working.
• Experience coaching multiple teams or acting as a shared coaching capability across a portfolio, division or value stream.
• Experience helping teams visualise work and use delivery, flow, outcome, quality and team-health measures.
• Practical understanding of how AI tools can augment delivery, including planning, backlog refinement, analysis, development, testing and continuous improvement.
• Strong coaching, facilitation, communication and stakeholder-engagement skills.
• An appropriate coaching or Agile certification, such as SAFe Practice Consultant, ICP-ACC, ICP-ATF, CSM, PSM or equivalent.
