AI Pre‑Sales Architect

About the role

The AI Pre‑Sales Architect will act as the strategic technical lead in pre‑sales engagements, helping clients design large‑scale transformation programs across applications, data platforms and AI enablement. You will translate business goals into end‑to‑end solution architectures on Azure and guide senior stakeholders through the journey.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic consulting conversations to identify transformation opportunities across application portfolios, data platforms and AI/automation strategies.
• Translate business and technology requirements into reference models, migration patterns and capability roadmaps.
• Architect application modernization solutions including re‑platforming, containerization, micro‑services, API enablement and event‑driven patterns.
• Design data and AI architectures such as data lakes, MLOps frameworks and analytics platforms using Azure‑native services.
• Integrate SaaS and enterprise systems (e.g., Oracle, CRM, ERP) ensuring interoperability, governance and security.
• Develop solution proposals, RFP responses, estimates and Statements of Work in collaboration with pursuit and delivery teams.
• Lead executive and technical workshops to shape outcomes and drive solution direction.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in solution architecture, application modernization or cloud transformation, preferably within global system integrators or large consulting firms.
• Proven delivery background with hands‑on implementation knowledge.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills, comfortable with C‑level and senior technical audiences.
• Enterprise architecture certification (e.g., TOGAF) strongly preferred.

Required skills

• Azure application and data services (PaaS, serverless, databases, analytics, AI toolchains).
• Containers, Kubernetes, micro‑services and event‑driven architectures.
• API design and integration.
• Data lake and MLOps frameworks.
• Integration of SaaS/enterprise systems such as Oracle, CRM and ERP platforms.
• TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture framework.
• Azure Solution Architect Expert or similar cloud certification (advantageous).
