AI Product Specialist For Public Sector

About the role

SAP is seeking an AI Product Specialist to partner with public‑sector customers in the United Arab Emirates. You will identify high‑impact AI use cases within the SAP landscape and deliver end‑to‑end solutions on S/4HANA and SAP Business Technology Platform.

Key responsibilities

• Work directly with UAE public‑sector customers to discover, prioritize, and frame AI use cases on top of S/4HANA and SAP BTP.
• Design and implement end‑to‑end AI solutions, including data pipelines, model selection/integration, and UI/process integration.
• Run agile cycles from proof‑of‑concept through pilot to production, gather user feedback, and drive adoption in real business processes.
• Act as the bridge between Dubai Lab customers and global SAP Product & Engineering, feeding requirements and gaps into the roadmap.
• Produce reusable accelerators such as reference architectures, templates, and best‑practice guides that can be scaled across the UAE and the region.
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, customer services, and delivery teams to ensure seamless solution delivery.

Required profile

• Ability to translate business challenges into clear technical designs and deliver production‑ready solutions.
• Confidence in customer‑facing activities: discovery workshops, demos, and explaining technical trade‑offs in business terms.
• Comfortable operating in a forward‑deployed role, taking ownership and collaborating with global teams.
• Solid grounding in data and AI/ML concepts (data modelling, APIs, forecasting, classification, copilots/assistants).
• Understanding of core public‑sector processes such as budget planning, execution, grants or funds management.
• Knowledge of the public‑sector market, its evolution, and SAP’s industry portfolio.
• Experience with local customers and partners is a plus.
