Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AMEL) Scholarship Programme – Emirates

About the role

Join the elite AMEL Scholarship for UAE nationals at the Emirates Engineering Training College in Dubai. The programme prepares you to become a skilled aircraft technician for the world’s largest planes, with full approval from the UAE GCAA and expert guidance throughout the training.

Key responsibilities

• Complete intensive theoretical and practical training during Phase 1 (3 years) to obtain GCAA certification and advanced diplomas.
• Gain hands‑on maintenance experience on live aircraft during Phase 2 (2 years) and work towards the Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence.

Required profile

• Age between 18 and 24 years.
• Grade 12 completed with a minimum score of 80 %.
• National Service completed before joining.
• Medically fit and holder of a valid UAE passport and Khulasat Al Qaid.
• English fluency – TOEFL PBT ≥ 510 (or IBT 4.0) or IELTS ≥ 6.0.
