Aircraft Systems Technician – Working Party

About the role

Airbus Africa and Middle East is looking for an experienced Aircraft Technician (Systems) to join the Working Party in Dubai. The role involves inspecting, maintaining and repairing aircraft systems on Airbus customer aircraft, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute modification embodiments and high‑value repair projects in line with EASA/FAR Part 145 regulations.
• Conduct upgrades and major repairs on external customer aircraft, including fleet‑wide interventions.
• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel and environmental systems.
• Use diagnostic equipment, technical manuals and system‑specific tools to resolve issues.
• Document all maintenance actions, parts used and labour hours in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• 15‑20 years of experience in MRO (Part 145) or aircraft manufacturing (Part 21).
• High school diploma; technical certification preferred; EASA Part 66 license a plus.
• Fluent English; additional languages such as French are advantageous.
• Willingness to travel worldwide to support Airbus customers.

Required skills

• EASA Part 66 or equivalent Aircraft Maintenance License.
• Experience with Airbus A380/A350 systems.
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel and environmental aircraft systems.
• Proficiency with flight control, engine removal/installation and landing‑gear inspection.
• Familiarity with AMM, TSM and diagnostic software/tools.
