Airport Duty Officer (UAE National)

About the role

The Airport Duty Officer ensures that all airside facilities and operations at Ras Al Khaimah International Airport are maintained to the highest standards of safety and efficiency. This full‑time, onsite role is open to UAE nationals and involves close coordination with internal teams and external agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular movement‑area inspections and provide follow‑me services to aircraft and ground vehicles.
• Audit aircraft turnaround processes and enforce airside safety regulations.
• Deliver ADP training to internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor and record all airside movements, maintain up‑to‑date departmental documentation.
• Initiate emergency actions and conduct preliminary accident/incident investigations.
• Manage wildlife and obstacle control on the airfield.
• Coordinate with customs, immigration, airport security, federal police, airline engineers, ATC, emergency services, and other relevant parties.

Required profile

• University degree (graduation).
• Minimum five years’ experience in airside operations management.
• UAE national.
• Strong knowledge of GCAA regulations and airside SOPs.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with stakeholders and authorities.
