Airport Services Duty Supervisor – Dubai (Emirati Nationals)

About the role

We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to join Qatar Airways Ground Services in Dubai as an Airport Services Duty Supervisor. Reporting to the Duty Officer, you will lead a team to deliver the award‑winning 5‑star service Qatar Airways is known for, while supporting the Airport Services Manager during flight delays, disruptions, denied boarding and other challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Act as station coordinator, liaising with the ground handling agent and Qatar Airways.
• Supervise the airport team to achieve on‑time flight closure and passenger boarding.
• Plan efficient manpower allocations for Customer Service Agents during duty periods.
• Provide support during flight disruptions, misconnections and other passenger‑related issues.
• Perform aircraft turnaround checks as assigned to ensure safe ground‑ramp operations.
• Generate reports, maintain a tidy workplace and assist the Airport Services Manager as needed.
• Serve as primary contact for agents requiring assistance with questions, problems or discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, quality and environmental policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Experience in airline or reputable ground handling operations.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high customer‑service standards.
• Experience in passenger services, baggage services, ground operations, dangerous‑goods regulations and ramp handling.
• High level of computer literacy.
• Emirati national status is mandatory.
