Alliance Systems Manager

About the role

Etihad Airways is seeking an experienced Alliance Systems Manager to join its Alliances & Joint Ventures team. This hands‑on technical position is responsible for configuring, testing and maintaining the airline systems that support Etihad’s global codeshare and interline partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Amadeus Altéa Passenger Service System parameters for codeshare and interline operations.
• Manage end‑to‑end implementation of new interline, through‑check‑in and codeshare partnerships.
• Test and validate PSS integrations with more than 130 airline partners.
• Maintain codeshare schedule publication and ongoing schedule synchronisation.
• Support approximately 138 interline partners through testing, troubleshooting and operational support.
• Execute production system configuration changes with a focus on accuracy and integrity.
• Lead or support migration projects to Lufthansa Systems SchedConnect and from AirVision.
• Perform detailed system testing, document test strategies and conduct user‑acceptance testing.
• Maintain Carrier Preferred Display (CPD) rules to maximise commercial performance.
• Investigate and resolve production issues in partnership with Amadeus and other technology providers.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience with airline commercial or operational systems.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Amadeus Passenger Service System (Altéa).
• Excellent understanding of codeshare operations and publication processes.
• Proven experience implementing and supporting interline agreements.
