AML Intern – Compliance Internship

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented AML Intern to join our team and gain hands‑on experience in Anti‑Money Laundering (AML), compliance, and KYC. This opportunity is ideal for a student or recent graduate interested in building a career in compliance, financial crime prevention, risk management, or financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with KYC and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) reviews.
• Support the collection and verification of customer documentation.
• Assist with AML transaction monitoring and identify unusual activity.
• Conduct screening against relevant sanctions and watchlists.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date compliance records.
• Assist the Compliance/AML team with ongoing reviews and investigations.
• Support the preparation of reports and compliance documentation.
• Stay informed about AML/KYC requirements and regulatory developments.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Law, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working with confidential information.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Willingness to learn and develop within the compliance field.
• Previous experience in AML, KYC, compliance, or financial services is an advantage but not required.
