Analyst, General Accounts & Consolidation

About the role

The Analyst, General Accounts & Consolidation supports the Senior Analyst in ensuring accurate and timely flow of financial information across the Finance & Investment Directorate. The role involves coordinating with multiple departments, managing month‑end activities in SAP, and preparing data for internal and external audit processes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Analyst in the monthly accruals process, including follow‑ups, data collection and review.
• Prepare and upload accrual sheets to SAP and generate related reports.
• Coordinate with Accounts Receivable, Payable, Fixed Assets, Payroll and other departments to ensure timely posting to the General Ledger.
• Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements and respond to Group Financial Assurance requests.
• Liaise with ADNOC Group entities for cost allocation, billing and journal entries.
• Generate trial balances, sub‑ledger reconciliations, commitment schedules and other financial reports from SAP.
• Participate in quarterly cash‑call reconciliations and identify necessary journal entries.

Required profile

• At least 6 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting or related finance functions.
• Proficiency in SAP financial modules and month‑end closing processes.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to review and validate accruals and journal entries.
• Excellent coordination skills to work with multiple internal departments and external entities.
