Analyst – Public & Private Investments

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Investment Analyst to join the Investments Team of a well‑established Dubai‑based family office. The role involves supporting research, due diligence, portfolio monitoring and performance reporting across a diversified mix of public and private assets.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research on financial markets, sectors, companies, IPOs and investment opportunities across regional and international markets.
• Assist in developing and maintaining financial and valuation models for listed securities.
• Support evaluation of investment opportunities, fund managers and counterparties through data gathering, financial analysis and documentation.
• Track portfolio holdings, investment exposures, market developments and performance against benchmarks.
• Prepare research summaries, market updates, investment presentations and periodic portfolio reports.
• Coordinate with banks, custodians, fund managers and external service providers on investment‑related activities.
• Maintain accurate investment records, support compliance with internal procedures and assist with risk monitoring.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
• Approximately 2 years of relevant experience in investment management, asset management, financial research or a similar analytical role.
• Exposure to listed equities, investment funds, sukuk, alternative investments or structured products is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of financial statement analysis, valuation principles, macroeconomic trends and portfolio management.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and spreadsheet modelling.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg or similar financial data platforms.
• Candidates pursuing CFA Level I or another relevant professional qualification are preferred.
