Apartments Concierge

About the role

Fairmont Dubai, a luxury hotel in the business heart of the city, is looking for an Apartments Concierge. Reporting to the Leasing & Apartment Manager, the concierge greets guests on arrival, welcomes them into the apartments and offers a warm, professional first impression of the hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome every guest entering the apartments and attend to guests leaving, offering assistance
• Remain observant and respond to guests passing through the front entrances
• Open doors for incoming and outgoing guests and give directions to retrieve a valet-parked car
• Report suspicious people or behaviour to security and arrange taxis for guests who need them
• Attend shift briefings and follow the Fairmont Code of Ethics
• Work with the Bell Persons on apartment numbers and help Housekeeping keep the driveway clean
• Perform other duties requested by management

Required profile

• Good knowledge of the hotel and Dubai, and current events
• Guest-orientated, physically fit to lift and move luggage, with high standards of personal presentation
• Flexible working hours; previous experience is an asset but not required
• Eligible to live and work in the UAE; the employer assists with the visa process and provides flights and accommodation

Required skills

• Good English, verbal and written (second language is an asset)
• Knowledge of the hotel and Dubai
