Applied Scientist – AI Research & Development

About the role

Inception42, a G42 company, is seeking an experienced Applied Scientist to design and develop cutting‑edge AI algorithms and models. You will work closely with product teams to translate emerging AI technologies into real‑world solutions across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and optimize foundational and applied research to advance state‑of‑the‑art AI algorithms and model capabilities.
• Develop integrated multimodal solutions that combine text, audio, and visual data for nuanced human‑machine interaction.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers to ensure AI algorithms are efficient, reliable, and scalable.
• Partner with product development teams to embed new algorithms into offerings and deliver proofs of concept for clients.
• Identify opportunities where AI can improve customer business efficiency and provide pre‑sales and post‑sales technical support.

Required profile

• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or an AI‑related field; specialization in Computer Vision, NLP, or Speech/Audio is highly desirable.
• Minimum 6 years of experience developing AI algorithms for multiple modalities.
• Proven research track record, evidenced by peer‑reviewed publications or product‑driven R&D.
