Apprenticeship Manager

About the role

A government educational institute specializing in Technical and Vocational Education and Training is hiring an Apprenticeship Manager in Abu Dhabi. The role leads and oversees apprenticeship programs, strengthens industry partnerships and ensures high-quality work-based learning is delivered.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the strategic planning, development, implementation and continuous improvement of apprenticeship programs.
• Build and maintain partnerships with government entities, employers and industry stakeholders to expand apprenticeship opportunities.
• Oversee operations including industry placements, workplace training, learner progression and program evaluation.
• Work with academic leadership and industry partners so programs match workforce needs and occupational standards.
• Develop and monitor KPIs such as apprentice engagement, retention, completion rates and employer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with apprenticeship frameworks, regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and operational challenges to improve program effectiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, Human Resources, Engineering or a related field; a master's degree is an advantage.
• Significant experience in apprenticeship management, vocational education, workforce development or industry-based training.
• Demonstrated managerial experience leading programs, managing stakeholders and driving operational performance.
• Strong understanding of TVET frameworks, work-based learning models and quality assurance practices.
• Proven ability to build strategic industry partnerships aligned with labour market demand.
