Arabic Teacher (Female) – Dubai

About the role

The Westminster School in Dubai is seeking a qualified female Arabic Teacher to deliver its Arabic curriculum to students of varying abilities. The role involves planning, delivering and assessing lessons while fostering a supportive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Arabic lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of late‑entering students, ESL learners, low‑ability, gifted and talented pupils.
• Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, attendance, assessments and resources.
• Set, mark and provide constructive feedback on student work.
• Utilise media and technology to enhance classroom instruction.
• Participate in co‑curricular and extra‑curricular activities and school events.
• Communicate regularly with parents, keeping them informed of progress while respecting confidentiality.
• Contribute to staff meetings, committees and professional development initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Arabic or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
• Minimum three years of proven Arabic teaching experience.
• Strong classroom management and interpersonal communication abilities.

• Proficiency in using classroom media and educational technology tools.
