Arabic Teacher – Start September 2026

About the role

GEMS United Indian School is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Arabic Teacher to join its Abu Dhabi campus in September 2026. The successful candidate will deliver engaging Arabic language instruction, support student wellbeing, and contribute to the school’s vibrant community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver Arabic lessons aligned with the curriculum and school standards.
• Use differentiated instruction to meet diverse learner needs.
• Integrate digital tools and technology to enhance learning experiences.
• Incorporate critical thinking, problem‑solving and inquiry‑based strategies.
• Create a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that fosters independence and curiosity.
• Maintain accurate records of student achievement and produce progress reports.
• Establish clear classroom routines, high expectations for behaviour and academic work.
• Manage classroom safety, engagement, respect and positive learning behaviour.
• Uphold school policies on discipline, safeguarding and student welfare.
• Build positive relationships with students and support their social‑emotional wellbeing.
• Participate in extracurricular activities, school events, assemblies and field trips.

Required profile

• Recognised teaching qualification (BA, MA or B.Ed in Arabic) with attestation and degree equivalency.
• Minimum of 2 years proven teaching experience in Arabic.
• Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication abilities.
