Architect – Authority Liaison

About the role

The Architect – Authority Liaison will serve as the main bridge between our design teams and Abu Dhabi’s government authorities. This senior position ensures that all architectural designs meet local codes and obtain the necessary permits in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with authorities such as ADM, DOT, ADDC, and Civil Defense to secure approvals.
• Prepare and submit permit and NOC documentation through MEPS and TAMM systems.
• Lead authority coordination meetings, troubleshoot compliance issues, and drive fast approvals.
• Align architectural work with authority standards across high‑rise, commercial, hospitality and mixed‑use projects.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while handling pressure to meet deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 8–10 years of experience in an engineering consultancy within the UAE.
• Proven track record on high‑rise, commercial, hospitality and mixed‑use projects.
• Fluent Arabic speaking is mandatory.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in 3Ds Max.
