Area Development Manager – Poultry (Dubai)

About the role

The Area Development Manager (Poultry) will lead a sales team responsible for the poultry product portfolio across Dubai. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, ensuring product visibility, and driving brand activation in the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the assigned sales team, coverage area and product range.
• Achieve the Sales Annual Operating Plan (AOP) – both value and volume – for the specified area and category.
• Execute sales plans and budgets to exceed annual sales objectives.
• Forecast promotional activity monthly and ensure execution as per plan.
• Review daily service levels, sales volume and return performance by route.
• Deliver monthly sales volume and returns targets in line with AOP.
• Ensure correct product visibility and shelf share according to planograms.
• Control wastage across all routes and outlets.
• Collect and reconcile payments from approved credit customers.
• Supervise sales representatives to maintain service levels, distribution and display standards.
• Order appropriate product volume and mix to meet outlet requirements.
• Implement planograms and brand activation initiatives, including launches and trade investments.
• Monitor and apply Proof of Performance (POP) at store level and devise promotional strategies.
• Conduct quarterly reviews with each customer and maintain strong relationships.
