Artificial Intelligence Program Manager

About the role

The United Al Saqer Group (UASG), a multi-sector business group in the UAE, is recruiting an AI Program Manager to lead its enterprise-wide AI adoption initiative. Embedded in Group IT, the role drives internal and customer transformation across IT, HR and Finance, turning the group's AI vision into programs that deliver measurable business value. It owns the AI roadmap, portfolio governance and value tracking, while delivery execution stays with business and IT owners.

Key responsibilities

• Own and refine the group-wide AI strategy and phased roadmap, aligning initiatives with business goals and digital transformation objectives.
• Run a virtual AI task force or Center of Excellence using Agile methods, and oversee AI projects from inception to deployment.
• Define baselines, benefits owners and a benefits tracking cadence, and report quarterly progress, KPIs and risks to executive leadership.
• Build a pipeline of AI use cases, deliver proofs of value and scaled releases with defined success metrics.
• Lead change and enablement: communication plan, training sessions linked to the Enterprise Skilling Program, adoption plans per release, adoption KPIs and a monthly dashboard, plus an AI champions network.
• Work with governance, risk and compliance teams to set AI policies, governance frameworks and risk controls, including risk and bias assessments and human oversight for sensitive uses.
• Act as main liaison with Microsoft, Oracle and other AI vendors, evaluate tools, run proof-of-concepts and manage partner performance through SLAs and quarterly reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business or a related field.
• At least 8-10 years in technology or digital transformation, with at least 3 years leading AI initiatives.
• Proven experience managing AI/ML or data analytics projects.
• Experience in the UAE/GCC region is preferred.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of enterprise systems (ERP, HCM), cloud platforms and AI tools.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Oracle AI, Power BI or similar platforms.
• Project and change management, stakeholder engagement, and knowledge of AI governance, data ethics and compliance.
