ASA/ECA Coordinator

About the role

The ASA/ECA Coordinator is responsible for organising and managing the After‑School Activity (ASA) and Extra‑Curricular Activity (ECA) programmes across primary and secondary levels. Working within the Academic Administration Team, you will coordinate internal and external communications, ensuring smooth delivery of activities for students, parents, staff and partner organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the whole‑school ASA/ECA programme, updating the schedule each term.
• Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team, teaching staff and the Director of Sport to confirm activity squads.
• Engage external providers and the Operations Manager to populate the ASA timetable.
• Work with Marketing to keep promotional material current.
• Submit ASA/ECA approvals to KHDA on a termly basis.
• Maintain the school’s ECA sign‑up system and produce the parent handbook.
• Communicate activity details to parents, staff and students.
• Oversee student collection procedures and ensure safe registration at start and end of sessions.
• Coordinate end‑of‑day arrangements and arrange cover for absent teachers.
• Create signage and explore new ASA opportunities with the Operations Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with strong written and spoken English.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational setting.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
• Solution‑focused, proactive and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• High attention to detail and resilience.
