Assembly Production Technician – Precision Manufacturing

About the role

EDGE Group is seeking an Assembly Production Technician to join its Abu Dhabi manufacturing hub. The role focuses on assembling precision mechanical and electrical components according to engineering drawings, specifications, and strict quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform precision assembly of components and sub‑assemblies following work instructions and engineering drawings.
• Use and maintain precision measuring tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges and calibration equipment.
• Ensure assembled parts meet tolerance, dimensional and quality requirements and conduct final testing.
• Identify, report and document defects, non‑conformities or process issues.
• Maintain accurate production records, inspection reports and assembly documentation.
• Support process‑improvement and industrialisation activities to increase assembly efficiency.
• Manage inventory, forecast consumption trends and prepare regular inventory reports.
• Collaborate with production, quality and engineering teams to meet project timelines.
• Uphold workplace safety, clean‑room standards and proper tool handling.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in assembly work or manufacturing environments.
• Diploma or technical training in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Familiarity with precision measurement techniques and lean inventory practices.
